Galliford Try Partnerships raise almost £90,000

Last year Galliford Try Partnerships chose World Child Cancer as its first ever annual charity partner, setting an ambitious fundraising target of £50,000. After 12 months of cake bakes, fun runs and skydives across the country staff raised almost £90,000 to help give children with cancer in low-middle income countries the very best chance of survival.

World Child Cancer’s CEO, Jon Rosser, said:

“We are so impressed with what the team at Galliford Try Partnerships has achieved, beating their fundraising target in style. This is an incredible amount to raise and it will, literally, save lives. It will help children with cancer to be diagnosed accurately and access appropriate treatment, as well as provide support to their families at such as challenging time. Every member of the Galliford Try team should be so proud – and we are extremely grateful.”

Stephen Teagle, Chief Executive of Galliford Try Partnerships, said:

“I am extremely proud of everyone who played a vital role in raising almost £90,000 in the past year for World Child Cancer. It’s a truly outstanding result well beyond our original hopes and expectations. The passion, energy and dedication shown by colleagues across the country has been inspirational and we wish World Child Cancer every success as they continue with their invaluable support to so many children and families.
I would encourage any company looking to partner with a friendly and cost-effective charity to consider partnering with World Child Cancer. Not only will it bring huge business benefits, but your staff team will know they have literally saved the lives of children with cancer.”

We would like to thank Galliford Try Partnerships for their dedicaton and support over the past year. We are grateful for all that they have done to raise vital funds for children with cancer all over the world.
